About
strawberrymilk
2022
Strawberrymilk is a personal audio and ocular device used to augment reality to imitate the feeling of developing a crush as the user listens to unending love songs and views the world through a heart-shaped and rose-tinted lens.
I used the cyberpunk visual aesthetic to evoke the augmentation (of the body and environment) qualities of the subgenre. Strawberry milk has a childish connotation to it, hence the naming, as the device is used to imitate only the naive infatuation phase rather than the fostering of deeper affection.

The silhouette references the anatomy of a strawberry.
Sculpting
The body and hinges were sculpted with Autodesk Fusion 360. Decorative parts such as the leaves and lenses were laser cut and etched from acrylic sheeets and then attached to the body.
